Back in October, a new Drawn to Life game was accidentally revealed for Nintendo Switch. This was due to the Taiwanese rating board, who accidentally published a description of the game (with imagery and logos) after they rated it.
It was a big reveal overall, and one which shocked a lot of fans given how dormant the Drawn to Life franchise had been since that point.
However, it also led to confusion too. After all, the rating only said a Drawn to Life game would be released at some point, not what it’d actually be. As a result, fans were left confused over whether it’d be a new installment in the series, a collection of the first two games, or any combination thereof.
But now that’s changed. Why? Because a French company has apparently leaked the trailer of the game online, complete with its release date. Here’s a link to the trailer on YouTube:
As well as a backup uploaded in case of a takedown:
As you can see, it confirms the game is an all new adventure, proving that it’s not a remake or remaster. It also confirms. a December 7th release date too, confirming the game is indeed due to launch this year.
In addition to other systems the game will launch on. In this case, Steam, the Apple App Store and Google Play.
So it seems like it’s going to be everything fans want. A brand new game (albeit perhaps a prequel or alternate timeline), due to out on various consoles and formats later this year.
Still, what are your thoughts here? Are you excited for the game based on the trailer? How do you think it’ll work story wise?
