Two Nintendo Directs Announced for Next Week!

Well folks, it seems the Nintendo Direct predictions were almost correct! Why? Because just a few minutes ago, Nintendo announced that two major Nintendo Direct presentations will be airing this coming week.

First will be a Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, which is happening on the 8th of September at 3pm UK time, while the second is a general Nintendo Direct due on the 9th of September at the same time. What’s more, the first of these will be 30 minutes long, while the second will be a 45 minute presentation followed by a Treehouse Live event.

Here’s the announcement about it from their official Twitter account:

As well as from the American one:

And the Japanese profile:

Yeah, it’s big news for Ocarina of Time fans. Indeed, while the Zelda anniversary event will probably cover other aspects of the series for its 40th anniversary (the Zelda movie, Nintendo Switch Online games, maybe a spinoff or two), it’s almost certain that the Ocarina of Time remake will be the main focus here. That a large portion of Wednesday’s event will be dedicated to said remake, and show exactly how it differs from the N64 original.

So, get ready folks. We’re gonna see some exciting stuff there, that’s for sure.

What’s more, we’re also likely going to see some insane reveals in the main Direct on Wednesday too. Since well, Ocarina of Time will probably not be included in that one.

Hence, it’s very likely we’ll see at least one or two big Nintendo reveals there. Maybe a new 3D Mario game is on the table? Or Mario Kart World DLC? Maybe a new 2D Metroid, Wario Land or Super Smash Bros game?

Honestly, the possibilities are almost endless!

Regardless, you can find the times the Directs will air in the tables below:
