If you’ve been anywhere near the internet in the last couple of months, you’ve probably seen at least one of the trailers for the Super Mario Bros Movie. Whether it’s the initial one with Bowser’s attack on the Penguin Kingdom, or the second one with all the Kong cameos (Kongeos?), they’re both awesome videos showcasing what’s shaping up to be one of the best video game adaptations in years.

And one major factor for that is the music. Loosely based on motifs from the games, this ominous tune sets the mood for the adventure perfectly, and fits the feel of the film as a result.
