Well folks, it seems like another Switch 2 title has a release date.
Yep, Splatoon Raiders is now launching on July 23rd 2026, and has a new overview title to celebrate that. Here’s the video if you haven’t seen it already:

As you can tell, it’s basically a single-player version of Salmon Run in many ways. You’re raiding islands for treasure, defeating Salmonids with the usual ink-based weapons, and upgrading your abilities via the loot acquired in the process.
What’s more, you won’t exactly be alone here. No, you’ll be working with the members of Deep Cut from Splatoon 3 (Frye, Shiver and Big Man) on this journey too. Heck, one of them will even fight alongside you in the form of a robot here too. So, it’s kinda like a collab experience when playing solo too.
Add to this the ability to play with up to three other players locally or online, and Splatoon Raiders seems like the perfect co-operative experience for fans of the series, especially the third title.
However, the game itself isn’t the only Splatoon related thing launching this year. Oh no, there are also new amiibo for the Deep Cut members too.
Yep, amiibo for Frye, Shiver and Deep Man are being released on the same day as the game. These can be used separately as usual, or connected together via their base as a way to display the band as a group.
It’s nifty stuff, and it reminds us a lot of the customisable Air Riders amiibo Nintendo released a few months ago.
Regardless, that’s when Splatoon Raiders is being released, as well as some of the features and merch the game has in store. So, what do you think? Are you excited to try it? What are you hoping to see in this single-player Splatoon spinoff?
