Dark Horse Books have now announced that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Secrets of the Zonai (the localised version of the Masterworks concept art book for Tears of the Kingdom) has now been delayed. Indeed, while it was originally planned for release on October 20th 2026, the book has now been delayed all the way until the March 30th 2027:

It’s a pretty sizeable delay, and one that makes us wonder what’s going on here.
After all, the book was released in Japan all the way back in August 2024. Or August 30th 2024 to be precise.
While the previous game’s equivalent (Creating a Champion) somehow got translated in approximately a year, with that book’s Japanese release being in December 2017 and its American one being in November 2018.
So, something’s definitely holding up this one. It’s just impossible to know what exactly that is at this point in time.
Regardless, the Secrets of the Zonai book now launches on the March 30th 2027 rather than the October 20th 2026. Here’s hoping it doesn’t get delayed again after that.
