Well folks, it seems like the rumours were actually true. Yep, Nintendo’s now announced that a new Nintendo Direct is happening tomorrow on the 9th June 2026, with 50 minutes of info and announcements about games for the Switch 1 and 2. Yeah, it’s gonna be a big presentation. New Mario and Zelda games, revivals of previously dead series like Wario Land, big third-party reveals… just about everything is on the table here.
Add this to a 95-minute Nintendo Treehouse: Live afterwards, and well, this is probably going to be the biggest Nintendo event of the year. The moment that shows us all what the Switch 2 has in store, and what the company’s prospects are likely to be in late 2026 and early 2027.
