Sorta.
Because like many other huge games whose music has been added in the past, it seems Nintendo is adding this soundtrack piecemeal too. As a result, while the track themes and other ‘default’ music is now available, the plethora of Nintendo remixes are not.
However, that’s still an impressive selection here. Indeed, while the Kirby Air Riders and Donkey Kong Bananza soundtracks only have a few songs available here and there, Mario Kart World already has 137 of them available. These include intro versions of every track theme in the game, every version of Rainbow Road as separate songs, the victory and starting line fanfares for every situation and the Super Mario Kart themes available in the game’s free-roam missions.
It’s an insane collection, and if this was any other Mario Kart game, enough to cover the entire soundtrack.
But for a game as crazy as this one, it’s only the start. We’ve still got remixes of every Mario Kart song under the sun yet to be added here, plus others for a couple of hundred random Mario tunes.
Regardless, the first batch of Mario Kart World songs are now available on Nintendo Music, and the various free-roam tracks are being added in future. Check it out if you’re interested in hearing these songs in high-quality outside the game!
