Mineru’s Construct Amiibo Launches September 17th

Back in 2025, Nintendo announced that the sages from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom would be getting their own amiibo. And for the most part, these were all released in June 2025. If you wanted an amiibo for Tulin, Yunobo, Sidon or Riju, they’d be available from June 5th 2025 and that was it.

Unfortunately, that still left Mineru’s Construct. Since while it was confirmed alongside the others, Nintendo delayed it till an undetermined later date. It made fans wonder what was even going on here, especially given that 2025 came and went without a single sign of it.

But it seems all this confusion is now about to end. Why? Because earlier today, Nintendo finally announced that the Mineru’s Construct amiibo would be available on September 17th 2026. Here’s a post about it with a pre-order link from the UK My Nintendo Store:

Some pictures of the amiibo showing how it looks:

As well as a quick trailer they released showing Mineru’s presence in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment:

Yeah, we thought it was a DLC announcement too. But no, it’s just a trailer showing Mineru in Age of Imprisonment. Way to give everyone false hope there Nintendo!

Regardless, now the amiibo has a release date, what do you actually get for using it?

Uh, for the most part, not much. You get a paraglider fabric in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and that’s pretty much about it. It’s not a bad design by any means, but it’s definitely a little anticlimactic given the wait:

Still, what do you think about it? Are you planning to buy this amiibo for Tears of the Kingdom? Or are you done with the whole game by this point?
