Last year, Nintendo added a selection of tracks from Donkey Kong Bananza to the Nintendo Music service. These included the Kong, Zebra and Ostrich Bananza themes, some themes for Emerald Rush, and the Breaking Through/Heart of Gold vocal song played in the credits.
It was a fine selection, but a tad underwhelming compared to other soundtracks on the service. After all, we all knew that King K Rool was in the game at this point. Where were his boss themes? What about the other Emerald Rush tracks, like the Bananza medley used in the final round?
They were all missing, and we never knew when they’d finally be available.
But now things have changed. Now, the entire soundtrack for Donkey Kong Bananza is available on Nintendo Music:

And when we say the entire soundtrack, we mean it. All the cutscene songs are here, including jingles heard for about 10 seconds in total. All the song variations are available, including the instrumental Bananza variants available for clearing the rehearsals. Heck, even weird side extras are here, like the Mario themed Emerald Rush theme and the trailer theme from the game’s announcement!
It’s an awesome soundtrack, and one that contains every song a Donkey Kong fan might ever want to hear.
So, check it out folks. It’s one of the best soundtracks of all time, and its release on Nintendo Music is just such perfect in every way.
