Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen a lot of trailers for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. These showcase everything from playable warriors to stages, story content to enemies, and have revealed all kinds of crazy things coming to the game.
Yet even with all this, none of them hold a candle to today’s trailer. Why? Because in this one, they show something not even the most die hard Zelda fans would have expected to see in Age of Calamity.
Namely, controllable Divine Beasts!
Yep, in this title you’ll be able to take control of Vah Ruta, Rudania, Medoh and Naboris and unleash all manner of hell on Ganon’s forces with them! Here’s a trailer showing them in action:
As you can see, they’re absolute killing machines through and through. They can cut through hordes of Guardians like it was nothing, send Ganon’s Bokoblin/Moblin/Lizalfos forces flying like there’s no tomorrow, and tear apart and all that dare step into their path.
It’s a long way from their Breath of the Wild incarnations, which lazily hung around and did nothing much of value. Hell, if Vah Medoh acted like it did here, Rito Village might look more like Hyrule Castle Town!
So yeah, we can’t wait to play as them when the game is released on November 20th. It’s gonna be awesome!
