A while back, Nintendo announced that wave 3 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass was being released later in the year. In that video, they showed two of the 8 tracks (Peach Gardens and Merry Mountain), and promised more would be shown closer to the release date.
Well, now it’s here! Now we have a new trailer for wave 3, complete with footage of every track included inside! Here’s the video if you haven’t seen it already:
As you can see, there are some incredible looking courses in this one. Indeed, in addition to the already shown Peach Gardens and Merry Mountain, we now have all the following to look forward to as well:

Rock Cup
- Tour London Loop
- GBA Boo Lake
- 3DS Alpine Pass (Rock Rock Mountain)
- Wii Maple Treeway
Moon Cup
- Tour Berlin Byways
- DS Peach Gardens
- Merry Mountain
- 3DS Rainbow Road
That’s quite the star studded lineup to say the least, and one which has somehow gotten even better than expected, given that Maple Treeway has now been moved into this wave rather than wave 6. Like, 2 of the best Mario Kart tracks ever made, 3 masterpieces from Tour and 2 awesome retros? What more can you want here?
Especially given how much better they look than the ones from wave 1 and 2. Like damn, Rainbow Road and Maple Treeway look incredible in this batch, with the former especially looking as shiny and awe inspiring as you’d have ever hoped it would.
