When it comes to 2D platformers on Nintendo systems, one of the most beloved ones of them all is Wario Land 4. A 2001 GBA instalment in the Wario Land series, the title has our titular antihero exploring a mysterious golden pyramid in an attempt to find as much treasure as possible. It’s an incredibly well-designed game with a quirky sense of humour, inventive levels and an amazing soundtrack, and a highlight of the GBA’s library in just about every way possible.
And now, it seems like a new generation of fans will get to enjoy it very soon. Why? Because just a few hours ago, Nintendo announced the game would be heading to the GBA app on Nintendo Switch Online next week. Here’s the reveal trailer for the release:

So yeah, get ready for a classic Wario platformer Nintendo fans! Because next Friday, Wario Land 4 will be the newest game available on Nintendo Switch Online.
