Well folks, it’s that time again! Yep, Nintendo’s now announced the track list and release date for another wave of DLC in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass.
And this time, it’s a very interesting selection to say the least. Why? Well, just look for yourselves:

Cherry Cup
- Los Angeles Laps
- GBA Sunset Wilds
- Wii Koopa Cape
- Tour Vancouver Velocity
Yep, we’ve got multiple tracks we’d never have dreamed of seeing. Indeed, in addition to Vancouver Velocity being moved forward to wave 5 rather than kept in its original wave 6 slot, we’ve got Moonview Highway returning from Mario Kart Wii, an unexpected choice to say the very least.
Still, unexpected isn’t a bad thing here, and the track choices are some of the best we’ve seen so far. And when you add the three new characters to the list (Petey Piranha, Wiggler and Kamek), well you’ve got a very solid wave of DLC to say the least.
Plus it’s coming next week too. Yep, the release date for this wave of DLC is none other than July 12th 2023, putting it on next Wednesday too.
So yeah, good news Mario Kart fans! Not only are you getting some new tracks in under a week’s time, but they’re some of the best the series have ever seen too, and come along with some much needed new characters as well. It’s going to be an awesome time to say the least.
