Super Mario Party Jamboree Has Leaked Online

Well, it’s happened again. Just like so many Nintendo Switch games before it, Super Mario Party: Jamboree has now leaked onto the internet prior to its release date.

Indeed, according to Nintendeal on Twitter (and backed up by extra evidence upon request), the game’s files are now available on various ROM sites and download services, and a good week or so before the game’s launch to boot. Here’s the original post about the leak:

Plus, the one with evidence the game has indeed leaked online:

It’s disappointing news for Nintendo, especially after every other major title of note went the same way. Tears of the Kingdom, the Paper Mario remake, Echoes of Wisdom, every Pokémon game under the sun… they’ve all been leaked prior to launch, often with weeks to spare.

Fortunately, spoilers for this one won’t be anywhere near as devastating as for the previous games. It’s Mario Party after all, a series where major plot twists are few and far between (outside of maybe Mario Party 3 on N64). So, it’s unlikely you’ll see much revealed here. A few mini game titles and descriptions here and a few unlockables there, but nothing too crazy beyond that.

Regardless, what do you think? Are you surprised that Super Mario Party: Jamboree leaked online? Are you going to try and avoid spoilers for the game now it’s out there?
