Well folks, it seems the Nintendo Switch Online library just keeps growing. Yep, Nintendo’s now announced that Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is heading to the service too, and will be available to play from August 9th. Here’s the announcement on Twitter:

And it’s a surprising one for sure. Why? Because in 2020, Nintendo also released Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, a full-blown remake of this game for the Switch. So now both versions are available on the same system, a rarity for Nintendo remakes in general.
Regardless, it’s coming to Switch Online on August 9th, and will be available to play for anyone with the Expansion Pack. So, what are your thoughts here? Are you excited to revisit one of the first ever Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games? How does the original version compare to its fancier HD remake?
