Ndcube Rebrands to Nintendo Cube

Recently, the Mario Party has been going through a bit of a renaissance. Indeed, with Mario Party Superstars nailing the feel of the original series, and Super Mario Party Jamboree including everything fans wanted from a new instalments, it’s clear that the uncertain days of the Wii and Wii U era are now long behind us.

But this refresh hasn’t just occurred with the Mario Party games here.

No, it seems the developer of the series is seeing its own shake up too. Why? Because out of the blue, the company previously known as Ndcube has silently rebranded to Nintendo Cube. We’re not sure why that’s happened, but we’d guess it’s probably something of a move to make their subsidiary status more understandable. Or perhaps an effort on Nintendo’s part to unify the naming of their internal studios.

Either way, they’ve now got a new logo for the name in question:

Plus a redesigned website with a new domain name:

So yeah, Ndcube is now Nintendo Cube, and the old name is no more.

But what do you think about it? Are you happy to see Ndcube rebrand themselves here? How does their new name and logo compare to the old one?
