Well, this is exciting news for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity! As the title suggests, the game has now sold at least 4 million copies, with sales likely continuing to increase in future.
That’s admittedly not amazing for a mainline Zelda game (which have sold anywhere from 5-20 million copies based on the title in question), but it’s amazing news for Koei Tecmo, whose Musou games have generally sold far less. Indeed, based on the 3 million it had sold by last year, Age of Calamity is officially the best selling Warriors game ever made, with its sales likely matching those for the original Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors combined.
So check out Koei’s official Twitter post on the matter here:
『#ゼルダ無双 厄災の黙示録』の全世界累計出荷本数が400万本を突破しました。プレイしていただいた皆さま、誠にありがとうございます。
1月10日(月)までセールも開催中ですので、この機会にぜひお楽しみください。

Then if you haven’t bought the game, go and try it out! It’s well worth playing, and very much in line with everything yopu loved about the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild!
