When The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom was first announced, there were a lot of questions about who was actually developing the game. After all, with the core Zelda team having just finished Tears of the Kingdom, and other teams having worked on all manner of other Nintendo titles, it was clear that the usual suspects probably weren’t that heavily involved this time around.
As a result, people speculated this could be another Grezzo project instead. After all, they’d already shown a familiarity with Zelda from the 3DS remakes and Link’s Awakening on Switch, and this game reused the latter’s art style. So it seemed they were the logical choice here. That the Zelda remake devs could be getting their first shot at an original title instead.
And now, that’s been officially confirmed. Grezzo are indeed the developers behind Echoes of Wisdom.
What’s more, we know this due to the game information screen on Switch. You see, while this feature is usually used to check things like updates for the game, it also has a credits screen too.
Which in turn lists various trademarks for the companies in the game’s production. Lo and behold, the one for Echoes of Wisdom lists Grezzo among these companies involved:

So, yeah, Echoes of Wisdom is officially a Grezzo and Nintendo project, just like the Link’s Awakening remake was. Seems that’s another mystery done and dusted.
