Update: Our sources say it’s definitely leaked now, given videos of the title screen taken by Nintendo of America. For better or worse, it seems like certain ROM sharing/piracy groups have the files, but they’re not being particularly public about it.
Well folks, it’s happened yet again. Just like many other Nintendo games before it, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom has now leaked online. Indeed, as confirmed by people like Ninty Prime and Zelda Lore, the game is now available for those that know where to look:

It’s bad news for Nintendo, who’s now got to deal with various leaks overshadowing the recent overview trailer and marketing materials:
And it’s probably bad news for anyone on social media who wants to avoid spoilers for the game. Because as all we know, internet people are not particularly good at spoiler tagging information from leaked games, nor holding off on showing things like the final boss in messages and thumbnails.
So, if you’re planning to go into the game blind, you’d better get those blocklists updated. Or at least, stay far, far away from places like Twitter, Reddit and BlueSky for the foreseeable future.
As for the rest of us, we’d probably better careful about now. Nintendo hates leaks relating to their biggest titles, especially when they occur this far in advance of the game’s intended launch date. Hence it’s almost certain the company is going to go nuclear on social media spoilers now these leaked copies are out in the wild, and in a way that’ll make the Tears of the Kingdom Master Works strikes look like child’s play by comparison. So, we’d heavily advise not streaming the game on YouTube or Twitch, or posting anything too spoiler heavy on social media right now.
Either way, it’s official. Echoes of Wisdom has leaked online, and spoilers are probably going to flood the internet in the next few hours. So be careful on social media if you’re worried about them, because they’re probably going to be everywhere very soon.
