Good news Nintendo 64 fans! Another classic Rare game is heading to the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online App.
Yup, as announced by Nintendo earlier today, Banjo-Tooie is being released on the service on October 25th. A huge adventure where Banjo and co have to stop a revived Grunty from working with her sisters and draining people’s life force, the title was one of the most ambitious games the N64 had ever seen, with huge interconnected staged filled with exciting characters, locations and mechanics.
And now it’s coming to Nintendo Switch too, courtesy of the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack. Here’s the announcement from Nintendo UK on Twitter:

It’s a great game, and one which seems to have improved even more with this port, given that extra features like widescreen support have been thrown into the mix.
So, if you’re a Banjo-Kazooie fan (or just want another classic 3D platformer to try out on Switch), give it a go. It’ll launch in all regions on October 25th, and provide yet another reason to check out the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass to boot.
