Ah once again the rumours were true! Yep, as insiders and leakers have been saying for the last week or two, we are indeed getting a new Nintendo Direct this week.
And this time, it takes place tomorrow on the 14th of September. Here’s the post about it from Nintendo UK’s Twitter page:

It’s pretty much exactly what you’d expect here. More info about upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch, especially those being released before the end of the year. So, what’s in store here?
Well to be honest, probably a lot of stuff related to the Super Mario RPG remake, the next wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC and Super Mario Bros Wonder. Okay, you might get a bit less of the latter since there was a Direct about it a few weeks ago, but still. It’s probably showing up here nonetheless.
We’re also likely to get more of that unnamed Princess Peach game too. That’s because leakers have the named flagged as ‘Princess Peach Showtime’, and are heavily hinting that Nintendo are willing to show it off in the near future. So again, that’s another one that’s likely to be at the event.
But what about the less obvious stuff? What could we see that isn’t basically confirmed?
Honestly, that’s the million-dollar question really. Big third-party games are a sure in, though whether it’s known titles like Professor Layton and the New World of Steam or entirely new reveals is definitely up in the air. Metroid Prime 4 and the new Nintendo console could be possibilities too, though if either are coming in 2024, it’s likely Nintendo won’t want to focus on them in an event like this one.
And there are also rumours of new Donkey Kong and F-Zero related reveals too. So, if either of those are true, we’re sure to get some pretty cool announcements tomorrow afternoon, especially if the former means a Donkey Kong Country platformer rather than a Mario vs Donkey Kong one.
Either way, there’s going to be some good stuff there. So, check out the time the Direct will air in your region via the timetable below…
