What Happens If You Send Glitched Items to Zelda Notes?

What Happens If You Send Glitched Items to Zelda Notes?

When Nintendo announced you could send items to other players via the Item Sharing feature in the Zelda Notes apps, people wondered how glitched and unused items would factor into this. After all, players can use glitches like Inventory Slot Transfer to get the Bow of Light and One-Hit Obliterator in Breath of the Wild, plus the MsgNotFound in Tears of the Kingdom. How would Zelda Notes even handle this insanity?

Well, as it turns out, in the least interesting way possible. As shown in our latest video, trying to send glitched items to Zelda Notes just results in an error:

So, sorry folks, you can’t share the Bow of Light or Obliterator here.

But that doesn’t mean all insanity is impossible. Oh no, while Item Sharing is limited, Autobuild Sharing is not.

As a result, if you mod your game or save data, you can add any actor to Autobuild. This includes shrine only objects, area effects like the low-gravity zone, and even characters like Ganondorf himself!

Autobuilding The Demon King

Yes, you can summon Ganondorf in places like Lookout Landing now!

It’s absolutely hilarious, and makes for some ridiculous photos and scenarios otherwise impossible in normal gameplay. Definitely worth trying out, especially if you’re into the whole Hyrule Engineering thing and can find these amazing QR codes.

Still, that’s what happens if you try to send unused items to Zelda Notes. If done through Item Sharing, the game rejects them with an error, while if done through Autobuild Sharing, they (currently) seem to go through just fine.
