Fan Creates Home StreetPass Relay/Nintendo Zone Hotspot Software!

Yep, if you have a Raspberry Pi (a mini computer that can be used for amateur programming things kind of like the ones popular in the UK about twenty years ago), you can just set up the software linked in the article and have a home Nintendo Zone/StreetPass Relay hotspot working in minutes!

It’s not slow either, apparently one of these can get you about 12 StreetPass hits every 8-10 minutes, Enough to complete all those puzzles and StreetPass Quest at any rate!

So here’s a video of it in action…

And here’s a nice link to the official site when you can download the whole thing for free, presuming you have the necessary equipment needed to set it up:

So yeah, StreetPass shouldn’t be a problem any more.  Will you download and try out this software as a quick way to get StreetPass hits without leaving the couch/your home?  Do you think widespread adoption of the system could fix the current problem we have with StreetPass being completely non viable in most regions of the world?

> Provided you have the necessarily equipment needed to set it up.
Put that in bold, it undermines the usefulness of this whole report.
