Animal Crossing Mobile Delayed Till April

A while ago, Nintendo announced that Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing would be getting apps based on them released for smartphones.

Which is all well and good for Fire Emblem. We’ve got a name for it (Fire Emblem Heroes). There’s been a trailer as part of a recent Fire Emblem themed Nintendo Direct. Plus a release date has been set for February 2017.

But what about Animal Crossing? What happened to that smartphone game?

Well, here’s the answer. Basically, Nintendo have delayed it to the next fiscal year. Which for people who don’t follow finance, means the earliest release date will be sometime in April 2017.

However, that’s not likely to happen. Why? Well, have much Animal Crossing Mobile information have you seen?

Yeah, I thought so. Nintendo hasn’t even posted a name for the game, let alone a logo or trailer. So unless this is coming in the next month or so, it seems most likely that the game will be a Summer or Autumn release. Heck, maybe even later if Super Mario Run is to be taken as an example.

But still, the delay is the only thing we know about so far. So what do you think? When do you expect that Animal Crossing get to be released for smartphones?
